Sesh, operated by Sesh Music LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we", "our", or "us"), provides the Sesh mobile application and the seshapp.live website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Content: Audio files, playlists, channels, song metadata, comments, and tags you upload or create.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including device type, app version, and feature usage.
• Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, and access times collected automatically by our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To store and deliver your audio content.
• To enable sharing features such as shared playlist links.
• To transcribe lyrics, analyze songs, and answer AI chat questions (see Section 5).
• To send transactional emails (e.g., password resets, account verification).
• To improve the Service and develop new features.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard services including Supabase (database and authentication) and Cloudflare R2 (file storage). We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and follow security best practices to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following cases:

• Shared Links: When you share a playlist link, the playlist content becomes accessible to anyone with the link (or link + password if password-protected).
• Service Providers: We use third-party services (Supabase, Cloudflare, Vercel, Resend for email, Stripe for web payments, and Apple for in-app purchases) to operate the Service. These providers only access data as needed to perform their functions.
• AI Service Providers: With your permission, audio you upload is sent to AssemblyAI to transcribe lyrics and to Google (Gemini) to analyze the song, and AI chat sends your questions and relevant library details (such as song titles, credits, and lyrics) to Google (Gemini). These providers process this data only to deliver these features to you. The app asks for your permission before any of this data is shared.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Access, update, or delete your account information at any time.
• Delete your audio content and playlists from the Service.
• Delete your account at any time from Settings in the app, or by contacting us.
• Revoke shared playlist links at any time.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
